Church Expo

August 29, 2017 – 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

SAGU Sheaffer Center Lobby

Assembly of God churches in the area are invited to participate in the SAGU Church Expo during Welcome Week for all new students. This is an opportunity to introduce your church and the various ministries you offer to new students and to invite them to be a part of your church! Feel free to bring give-aways; snacks; handouts; etc. There is no charge for this event. You will be provided a 6 ft. table and two chairs. Register Church Expo


Business Expo

September 5, 2017 – 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

SAGU Brick Walk in front of Sheaffer Center

Includes: covered 7’ x 5’ space area - including a 6’ x 2.5’ table and two chairs; lunch for 2; gift bag; access to power and wifi; and name on event signage.

Internship Fair

February 15, 2018: 10:30am-2:00pm in the Sheaffer Building

The Internship Fair purposes to connect current students to Businesses, Churches and Non-Profit Organizations as students seek to gain career-related experience. At this time, students will be seeking summer and fall internships. Participants will be required to bring a tablecloth, and will receive two free meals per organization. Please contact the office for more information.


Teacher Job Fair

The Teacher Job Fair will be held April 4, 2018 from 9:00am-3:00pm in the Hagee Communications Center

The Teacher Job Fair purposes to connect schools with graduating education majors and alumni. Local schools are invited to the campus to interview with the graduating education students in hopes of the students finding post-graduation employment. Schools participating should set up at 8:30am and will receive a schedule of appointments, copies of each student’s placement file and two meal vouchers. In an effort to enhance the services we provide in Career Development we are seeking input from our former students. Therefore, you will find a link below to a Post-Graduation Survey that is very important for us to receive for data and statistical purposes.

The information provided will assist us in determining the demographic profile of our graduates. It will also assist in evaluating the programs and services we provide through our office. The salary information you provide will be kept confidential and used only to compute averages.
